Adswds Platform 3.4.0: Rule Preview and stability hardening
3.4.0 adds Rule Preview and fixes contract expiry misclassification, rule matching, and minor ZIP export, with upload and decrypt hardening.

Adswds Platform 3.4.0 release notes
28 July 2026 — Adswds Platform 3.4.0 is now available.
Building on 3.3.1 explainable blocking, this release productizes a pre-launch simulation: run a controlled visitor profile against the current ad rules, preview landing vs safe page, and inspect the hit dimension. It also fixes contract expiry, rule matching and minor ZIP export issues, and hardens upload and decrypt paths.
What’s new
Rule Preview
- Open Rule Preview from the advertising list for a single ad
- Pick a preset or edit the visitor profile and re-run
- Output: pass/fail,
final_action(landing / safe),block_code/block_reason, and the visitor snapshot - Uses the same rule engine as live requests
Preset visitor packs
| Pack | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Meta | Meta review-oriented traffic |
| TikTok | TikTok review-oriented traffic |
| Google review-oriented traffic | |
| custom | Editable default profile |
Visitor fields follow the same parsing conventions as live traffic (e.g. primary language tag).
Log replay
- Open Rule Preview from a single access log and re-run
Bug fixes
- Fixed clients being treated as expired for the whole expiry day and kicked offline early
- Fixed language blocklist over-matching (e.g. blocking
en-USalso blockeden) - Device / UTM lists now ignore case and surrounding spaces; empty UA no longer fabricates device values
- Oversized access-log fields are truncated before insert; write failures are logged instead of dropped silently
- Minor ZIP export packs only referenced assets, not the full template static set; missing assets are listed and surfaced
- When no rule is saved, the UI clearly states traffic is fully allowed (live allow-all behavior unchanged)
- Admin client list marks expired / expiring soon; auto domain cleanup skips expired clients
Security
- Minor uploads disallow SVG, sniff real content types, and tighten static response headers
- Upload storage is tenant-isolated with quotas; template preview runs in a sandbox
- Hardened stream-link and login decrypt paths against malformed input so bad requests no longer return 500
- stream_id encryption key is read from configuration
How to use
- Console → Advertising list → open Rule Preview for the target ad
- Choose Meta / TikTok / Google or custom; adjust IP, UA, Referer, language as needed
- Review landing vs safe outcome and the hit-dimension copy
- Rule Preview only validates the supplied profile and does not represent platform approval — keep sampling live traffic
