IP Lookup

Standalone console IP Lookup: single-query lookup, structured results, one-click JSON copy; per-tenant enablement and multi-tier usage.

The console includes a standalone IP Lookup tool so media and ops teams can quickly check context for a single IP.

What it does

  • Single-query lookup: enter an IP in the console and submit
  • Structured results: fields laid out for quick reading
  • One-click JSON copy: paste into tickets, notes, or follow-up work

IP Lookup is for manual IP context checks. It does not replace ad-rule decisions and never writes back to live rules.

Enablement and usage

  • Operations enables or disables the capability per tenant in client management
  • Multi-tier usage limits allocate quota by business need
  • If the entry is missing, ask operations to enable it; when quota is exhausted the tool stays visible but lookups return a rate-limit error

How to use

  1. Confirm IP Lookup is enabled for your tenant and note available quota (admin accounts see the menu)
  2. Open IP Lookup in the console, enter an IP, and submit
  3. Review the structured result; use one-click JSON copy when you need to keep or share it

Menu names follow the console UI. If the sidebar entry is missing, the feature is usually disabled, or the current account is not an admin.

Relation to access logs

Access logs show IP, geo, and network flags for real visits after a hit. IP Lookup checks a specific IP on demand. Use both when troubleshooting: logs find the sample, IP Lookup adds context. See Access logs and data dashboard.
